Are you feeling festive today? Today's introduction to Funky Fossil's July release is just the ticket then!
How about that for a bumper start to your Christmas crafting? Let's take a look at how I used some of these supplies:
My first card uses a sheet of the green stripy paper as a background mat for the gnomes and their trees. I matched the greens closely to colour them and added a touch of contrasting aqua into the mix.
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Nordic Noel
Paper: Funky Fossil, Merry & Bright
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, YG00, YG01, YG03, YG17, YG23, YG67, BG13, BG15, BG49, R20, C00, C0, C1, C3, C5; Sakura white gel pen
My next card features the red tartan paper and the serene stag. I created a little banner in the top right corner using the smaller stamps from the set and couldn't resist hanging a heart from one of the antlers.
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Nordic Noel
Paper: Funky Fossil, Merry & Bright
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, E41, E42, E43, G28
My final card uses the Skinny Trees stencil to create a chilly blue background for the polar bear to stand in front of.
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Nordic Noel
Stencil: Funky Fossil, Skinny Trees
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black; Ranger distress oxide, speckled egg
Pens: Copic, B29, B39, BG0000, BG10, BG13, C00, C1
Are you loving this gorgeous set from Donna? Of course you are!
Tomorrow the introduction will be something completely opposite to Christmas - think warm and bright and colourful. Hope to see you then!
In the meantime thanks for looking today. Stay safe and keep crafting!
