Just a very quick post to share the card I made using the colours from the current challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.
Here's my card:
I used the background stamp and the the two pinks and then die cut the word happy from it. I stamped birthday in the green and matted the whole thing onto matching green cardstock.
A trio of enamel dots to finish off.
Supplies:
Stamps: Winnie & Walter, Mini Scenery: Bed of Roses; Uniko, Birthday Sentiments - to be released 28th Feb
Inks: SU, powder pink, wild wasabi, berry burst
Die: Winnie & Walter, Happy cutaway
Embellishments: SU, enamel dots
Thanks for looking today, I really appreciate your company.
And keep crafting!
Beautiful card, Jane, lovely use of the colours and I like how you made your background paper.
ReplyDeleteLove how the die cut word turned out with the stamped roses and mix of pinks. Beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteI like how you've combined the pinks with the background stamp to create a wonderful swirly design. What a super way to show how you can use roses to make something that isn't strictly feminine looking! Thanks so much for sharing your card with us at CC&S! :)
ReplyDeleteI love how you have created the "happy" die cut it adds so much interest whilst keeping the card CAS! Thanks for sharing with us at CC&S!
ReplyDeleteLove how you've stamped and coloured the die cut happy and it pairs perfectly with the Uniko 'birthday'. Wonderful use of the challenge colours and lovely to see you in the CC&S gallery this week. Hugs Bev x
