Have you seen all the fun going on over at the Winnie & Walter blog? It's their 4th birthday and they have a whole lot of challenges going on throughout February.
Today I made a card to go into Kelly's Use Your Scraps Challenge - Make a card (or two or three) with only the leftovers from your prior projects.
Well if you saw my post from yesterday you'll probably recognise most of the scraps I used.
I am a bit of a hoarder of small bits and pieces and keep them in colour coded transparent boxes, but even I throw out the little bits that fall out of die cut words. Well not today! They got used as balloons popped up on pads and I drew the strings with a fine tipped black pen.
The pink polka dot card was left over from yesterday's card and I die cut the happy from the middle of it - the bit hidden behind the white card. The white card was also left over from yesterday and I also used scraps to die cut extra happy words to make a bit of a stack for the polka dot word so that it has more of a 3D look.
Supplies:
Die: Winnie & Walter, Happy Cutaway
Card and Birthday stamp from my stash
Thanks so much for looking at my blog today, it means a lot to know you've spent some time here with me.
And keep crafting!
Adorable card, Jane, so pretty! I love the polka dot paper and I LOVE pink!
ReplyDeleteOh my word, you used the middles!!! LOVE that! Such dedication to even use those scraps, and your card turned out so well! So glad you were able to join in my Use Your Scraps challenge for Winnie & Walter!
