Funky Fossil September Release - Introducing Time For Tea

Well drinking tea is supposed to be a great British past time and today's look at the new Funky Fossil September release is going to perk up all tea drinkers. And maybe some coffee lovers too!

.
What do you think? Some of the pots could be brewing up coffee as well as tea I'm thinking.

My first card has a matching teapot and cup out on display on some shelves created using the Funky Fossil On The Shelf stencil

I thought this would make a good new home card and used the sentiment from another new stamp set in this release, Whimsy Town. You'll get a look at on Friday.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Time For Tea; sentiment from Whimsy Town
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne; Ranger distress, speckled egg
Card: Papermill Direct, slate grey

My next sample card uses papers from Let It Snow and a stitched grid die. I stamped, coloured and hand cut the images using colours to match the papers.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Time For Tea
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Die: Lawn Fawn, Peek-a-boo Backdrop

For my last card today I added some tea flowing from the pot to the cup. I placed the images over a die cut window and used a paper from In To the Blue as a mat  allowing it to frame the card as well as peep through the window.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Time For Tea
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Die: MFT Die-namics, stitched peekaboo window
Pens: Copic, B0000, B01,B06,B12,B14,B21

Have you got a favourite yet? Tomorrow's peek will have you entranced as well, so be sure to come back then. But in the meantime pop on over to the Funky Fossil blog and follow the links to the rest of the DT introductions to today's set - HERE.

Thanks so much for dropping by today, it's been so much fun having you visit.

Stay safe and keep crafting!
