Monday Moment

Today I'm sharing a card I made for the current Time Out Challenge.

Here's my card:

I started by die cutting the window and then stamping the wonky outline stripes onto the cut out piece.  I coloured them to match the stripy cloths in the inspiration photo and originally intended that they should be horizontal.

This all changed when I added the stamped and die cut flowers and dropped the card on the floor. I decided I rather liked how the stripes appeared to be stems when the card was turned so that the stripes became vertical. However the sentiment was now in the wrong place so I simply added a couple more to frame the frame so to speak!

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Background Blocks, Wonky Outline Stripes & Flower Power #1
Inks: Mememnto, tuxedo black; SU, crushed curry
Die: Uniko, Flower Power #1; MFT Die-namics, stitched peek-a-boo window
Pen: Copic, B04

Thanks so much for looking today, I really appreciate that you took the time to visit my blog.

And keep crafting!

  4. Bright and so pretty, Jane ... clever use of the 'stems' and a great idea for framing the 'picture' with sentiments! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Anita :)
