Monday Moment

I'm playing along at Inkspirational today and they have a wonderfully dark and moody photo for inspiration.

So much movement and pretty much the same colour. I've tried to reflect this in my card:

I chose the chevrons not just for their movement but also to represent the windows in the buildings.  I then stamped and second stamped the splodges for the rain.

The umbrella is such a big part of the photo and it drew my eye immediately so of course there had to be an umbrella on my card. I stamped and die cut it and popped it up on pads to add more impact.  I finished off my card with an inspirational sentiment which I thought reflected the feel of the photo.

Supplies:
Stamps: Precious Remembrance Shop, DIY & Positive Thoughts; Clearly Besotted, April Showers Additions
Ink: Mememnto, nautical blue
Die: Clearly Besotted, April Showers

Thanks so much for spending some time with me here on my blog today, I do so appreciate it.

And keep crafting!

  2. The raindrop splashes certainly give a sense of movement. Great card. Thank you for joining us at Inkspirational Challenges.
