Today I'm back in scrapbooking mode and have created a fun page using the sketch from Let's Get Sketchy.
Here it is:
I used papers from Shimelle's Box of Crayons and picked the stripy background paper because it was so dramatic and bold and matched the photo colours so perfectly. But as the photo was all about hunting for Easter eggs I added in some splashes of yellow to the mix.
The diamonds are die cut squares rotated and I matched the blue and aqua and added in some white too. I also matted the photo onto white and used white alphas for the title as I liked the contrast and how it enabled them to jump out from the background colours.
Papers: Shimelle, Box of Crayons
Die cuts: shimelle, Box of Carayons
Alphas: AC thickers, subway; Ali Edwards adhesive letters
Stickers : Echo Park, Celebrate Easter
Die: Lawn Fawn, large stitched square stackables
Embellishments: enamel dots from my stash
Thanks so much for spending some of your valuable time looking at my blog today, I really appreciate it.
And keep crafting!
