Friday Focus

When I saw Inkspirational's Colour Challenge colours I knew I was going to play along - such a fab combo. And then I decided to push myself a bit and enter Happy Little Stampers mixed media challenge - scary!

And here's what I came up with:

I started by stencilling the background in two minty colours and then used a second stencil to add embossing paste arrows. Next I stamped the inspirational words and the helenium flower in navy - thought the words were very appropriate as that was exactly what I was doing.

I stamped a few mint circles and scribbles and some third generation ink navy splodges before adding my shine element. The whole flower has wink of stella sparkle and the centre has a coat of glossy accents - both visible in the photo below.

Supplies:
Stamps: Stamplorations, Art Marks, Helenium, Explore
Inks: SU, night of navy, mint macaron, pistachio pudding
Stencil: TCW, mini postacrd, mini word arrows
Embossing: Deamweaver paste, white
Embellishments: Glossy Accents & Wink of Stella

Thanks for dropping by today, so pleased you did.  And keep crafting!
