Time For Tea Designs - Bee Happy Stamps & Dies

Hi everyone!

Have you been enjoying the Time For Tea Designs new release?

Well I've three cards to share today which are sort of part of the new release. I'm using the Bee Happy stamps and dies, both released previously but the dies re-stocked due to popular demand.

For this card I chose the sunny yellow paper from Sweet Summer and inked up a stencilled panel using Large Roses.

I went for the honey eating bee - love his little tongue poking out and the honey pot and twirler for my images. The sentiments are from the same set.

Supplies:
Stamps: T4TD, Bee Happy + dies
Stencil: T4TD, Large Roses
Paper: T4TD, Sweet Summer
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black, cantaloupe, peanut brittle
Pens: Copic, R27, R29, R83, BG01, BG11, E40, Y17, YR04, YR07, YR12; Sakura white glaze; Wink of Stella, clear

My next card also uses papers from Sweet Summer and I die cut them using the  Landscape Edge Standalon set to create a summer background.

The clouds and picket fence are from the Windmill Add On set. The stitched detail on the clouds is so cute.

I chose the flying bee with a basket of flowers making his way back to the hive and popped it up onto foam pads for dimension.

Supplies:
Stamps: T4TD, Bee Happy + dies
Dies: T4TD, Windmill Add On Set, Landscape Edge Set
Paper: T4TD Sweet Summer
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, YR02, YR07, R02, R81, R83, R85, BG32, BG34, E40, W1, W3; Sakura white glaze; Wink of Stella, clear

For my final card I created the background using the stencil Slimline Scene Builder

I used the branch from the set as a mini tree and added in two of the bees. They both have such adorable little faces.

In my mind both bees were visiting the hive home of another bee on their friend's birthday. It's so easy to imagine stories to go with all of Jo's cute little critters!

Supplies:
Stamps: T4TD, Bee Happy + dies
Stencil: T4TD, Slimline Scene Builder
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black, summer sky, pear tart, bamboo leaves
Pens: Copic, Y08, Y19, R29, R59, E40, BG01, B02, YR04, YR07, TG95, YG97; Sakura white glaze; Wink of Stella, clear

I'm really happy that you've stopped by to take a look at my blog today. huge thanks!

Polkadoodles Anything Goes Craft & Card Making Challenge

Time for another Friday Challenge at Polkadoodles. As always it's Anything Goes.

The theme the DT were asked to use for this week is Shopping.

I've used the mega cute Agnes Elephant Hat Shopping digi for my card. I love how she's struggling to decide which hat to buy! Once I'd printed her out I cut the card into a square using the largest stitched die from the Posydoodles Basics Squares die set. I added a stencilled background to one half of the square using Distressed Trellis.

I then matted up a background matching Agnes colours and repeated the triangle stencilled look by cutting a square of the Lily Bug Love Paper Heaven 2 digi paper in half. The sentiment is from Winnie Sunshine Delights Sentiment Bundle.

Supplies:
Ink: Memento, grape jelly
Stencil: Polkadoodles, Distressed Trellis
Dies: Polkadoodles, squares
Paper: Polkadoodles, Lily Bug Love Paper Heaven 2 digi
Pens: Copic, C0, C3, N3, N5, R20, RV17, RV55, V09, V17, G05, G17, E50, YG03, YG17; Sakura glaze, black & white

Thanks so much for dropping by today. I'll hope you'll find time to join in with this week's Polkadoodles Challenge - HERE. Remember it's always Anything Goes and there are prizes to be won so you've got nothing to lose by playing along.

Stay safe and keep crafting!

The final day of introductions to Funky Fossil's July release!

And if you love fairies and quirky and something a bit different then this is the day for you!

Oh my! How much do I love those fairies? My card shares are all about them and the wreath die had to wait until tomorrow to get a look in!

My first card pairs up one sweet fairy with the In The Spotlight stencil. Well this little lady just demanded to be put in the spotlight! And I'm thinking this card could be use for other occasions as well as Christmas.

Pens: Copic, Y11, Y13, E000, E00, E40, B21, B23, B24, B26, R20, RV04; Wink of Stella, clear

Then I went all out Christmas and used the Merry & Bright paper pad, the tree dies and enamel dots. She looks like she might have her pyjamas on and I'm wondering if she's been peeping to see if Santa has been!

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Naughty or Nice
Paper: Funky Fossil, Merry & Bright
Enamel Dots: Funky Fossil
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, VN1, N3, E000, E00, YG17, YG67, R20, R27, R29, R39; Sakura white gel pen; Wink of Stella, clear
Die: Lil'inker, long & skinny stitched rectangles

My final fairy may have just overindulged with the Christmas punch and is swinging from the decorations. Definitely a bit naughty this one!

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Naughty or Nice
Enamel Dots: Funky Fossil
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, R20, R29, R39, R46, R59, E000, E00, E40, Y18, Y19

Well that's all the introductions complete. Everything from this release will be available to purchase in the Funky Fossil shop tomorrow from 9.00am.

I'll be back tomorrow too with a few more cards to share and on Tuesday 3rd August Sarah will be on The Craft Show TV channel demonstrating with this release.

Day 4 of the introductions to Funky Fossil's July release. And it's a Christmas one.

Inks: Memento, tuxedo black; Ranger distress oxide, salty ocean, tumbled glass
Pens: Copic, C0, C1, B0000

Time For Tea Designs July Challenge Reminder 3

Just a few more days left to get your entry in to the Time For Tea Designs July Challenge.

Here's a look at the prizes on offer:

As this is still a new challenge the number of players is still quite low, so what are you waiting for? You could easily be picked as one of the winners!

Today I've created a slimline card as my DT inspiration and further encouragement to join in and play along.

I started by die cutting my base layers using the Slimline Trio Circle dies on white and green gingham card.

I then stamped, coloured and die cut the images from Blooming Bunnies. So adorably cute and lots of little accent stamps included in this set. I'm totally smitten by the bunnies and their wheelbarrow.

Supplies:
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black, love letter
Card: Papermill Direct, green gingham
Pens: Copic, W1, W3, W5, N3, N5, Y06, Y17, R20, R27, YR07 E33, E37, G02, YG09; Sakura glaze, black & white

Remember if you wish to purchase any items from T4TD you can get 10% off using code T4TJANE10.

Thanks so much for your time today, I'm so delighted that you found my blog.

Funky Fossil July Release - Introducing Toucan Talk

Hey! It's day 3 of the introductions to Funky Fossil's July release.

How fun is this set? Demanded bright happy colours I thought and my cards really reflect that.

I was in scene builder mode with my first card and once I'd inked a tropical background I created a frame using the leaves from the In The Tropics stencil.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Toucan Talk
Stencil: Funky Fossil, In The Tropics
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black, bahama blue, danube blue, pear tart, bamboo leaves, cottage ivy
Pens: Copic, B02, B04, R27, R29, Y18, Y19

Keeping with similar tropical colours I stamped a toucan and then masked it and a square round it before inking over. Once the masks were removed I added in some touches of colour to the toucan.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Toucan Talk
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black, bahama bue, danube blue, pear tart
Pens: Copic, YG03, YG06, B04, E40

My final card uses  the same technique but this time I used two toucans having a bit of a bop on the dance floor and stamped the banner twice above them.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Toucan Talk
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black, dandelion, rose bud
Pens: Copic, Y06, RV09

How do you like the toucans? They're fantastic fun aren't they?

The final two days of introductions to Funky Fossil's July release are all about Christmas again. One set is more traditional and one set is very quirky and fun. See you tomorrow and Thursday then I hope!

Thanks so much for finding time to drop by today. Stay safe and keep crafting!
