Tuesday Talk

Hi! Today I'm sharing an ATC that I made for the Happy Little Stampers ATC Challenge.

I'm being very last minute with this challenge and am hoping I get linked up in time as I find the time difference between the UK and Australia quite difficult to work out!

Any way in time or not this is what I created:

I used a digi stamp from STAMPlorations which is actually a tag, but with the top part removed it's the perfect size for a matted ATC.

I really indulged myself with choosing my favourite purples and pinks and coloured the flowers and added background shading using Copic pens.

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations digi, Spring Blooms Mug bonus tags
Pens: Copic, RV02, RV09,RV17, RV66, E000, YG63, V15, V17, C3, C5, C7, Y18; Uniball micro, black

Huge thanks for looking today, it's always so much more fun when you do.

And keep crafting!

Monday Moment

Hi all! I've got my scrapbooking hat on today and I've made a page using the mood board from Ella Bonella.

No photo description available.

Here's my page:

Definitely embracing the yellow! But plenty of the aqua too. I'm thinking these photos were just made for a yellow page.

I started by adding some patterned paper layers and the photos and then added the title and journalling.

And to balance out the huge embellishment cluster on the right i added a much smaller one on the top left.

Supplies:
Papers: scraps from my stash
Alphas: Simple Stories, You Are Her & So Fancy; AC thickers, Stroll
Stickers: Elle's Studio puffy hearts; Jillibean soup; Paperchase, stars; MAMBI sticks; Lilybee Design, pinwheel labels

It's been fabulous to have you visit today, thanks so much for your time.

And keep crafting!

Sunday Slot

I'm back today playing along with the Weekend Workout at AAA CAS Cards facebook group. This weekend we've been challenged to use digi stamps. And you know I love digi stamps!

Here's my card:

I used this very beautiful flower cluster from STAMPlorations, coloured it with my Copic pens and then hand cut it away from the frame that it was sitting in.

In keeping with the digi idea I also created a sentiment on my computer. I print it out on paper first, then attach the card on top of the paper with removable glue, pop it back into the printer and print it again. The font is called Sunshine Boulevard.

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations Digi, Spring Blooms Lily Spray
Pens : Copic, RV02, RV09, RV17, RV66, V15, V17, YG63, YG67, Y18, Y38, C3, E000, BV29; Uniball Micro, black

Huge thanks for dropping by today, hope you're having a fabulous weekend.

And keep crafting!

Saturday Spot

Hi! Today I'm sharing a card I crated for the AAA Cards facebook group's card exchange. The theme is SMILE.

Flowers always make me smile so that's where I started.

I chose a pretty little stamp set from Uniko and some bright happy sunny colours.

Suppiles:

I'm also going to pop this card into the challenge at Less is More where they want you to use small images.

Thanks for looking today and maybe you'd like to come on over to facebook to join the AAA CAS Cards group - HERE. Lots of chat and three events to join in with each month.

And of course I have some DT inspiration to share too:

I've used the giraffe stencil and the Wild stamp set on a scrapbook page.

The stamp is just perfect used as the title for my page.

And the stencil seemed to match the dinosaur skin perfectly too!

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Wild
Stencil: Uniko, Giraffe
Inks: Ranger distress, victorian velvet, brushed corduroy
Scrapbook supplies from my stash

I also used one of the animal stencils, this time the Tiger, as a background for a nautical card. I thought it looked very much like the waves on a stormy sea.

I kept the sailing boat colours neutral and hand cut it for its voyage across the ocean.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Nautical Treasures
Stencil: Uniko, Tiger
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne; Ranger distress oxide, salty ocean, peacock feathers

And my last share for this release is a masculine themed birthday card combining an older Uniko stamp set - Balloon Bash - with two of the new ones.

I started by stamping the Background Builders Classics stripes repeatedly across a piece of card. I used my misti tool to help space them accurately. This was attached to a blue card base.

I then stamped and die cut the sentiment from Sentiments Outlined matted it onto blue card and added the hand cut balloon on top.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Background Builders Classics, Sentiments Outlined, Balloon Bash
Inks: SU, marina mist; Memento, tuxedo black
Die: MFT Die-namics, double stitched rectangles

And here's that all important blog hop order so that you can be in with a chance to win the entire release!

Thanks for looking, keep crafting and good luck!

Uniko July Release - Introducing Stencils: Wild & Animal

WOW!
Today is going to be a WILD day of introductions to Uniko's July release!

Today there is one stamp set and three stencils to share with you. Here's what I created:

One card design in three different ways. First up is the Tiger stencil combined with the Wild stamp set. I masked off a corner and inked through the stencil, then stamped the greeting and footprint on top.

The same layout again but using the Giraffe stencil and different colours and stamps from the Wild set.

And a third version using the Zebra stencil.

Here they all are with their respective stencils.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Wild
Stencils: Uniko, Tiger, Giraffe, Zebra
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne; Ranger distress oxide, spiced marmalade, fossilized amber, picked raspberry, wilted violet, twisted citron, mermaid lagoon

So that's a wrap for the introductions! Tomorrow there will be the usual blog hop and a chance to win the entire release. And then you can finalise your shopping list and buy your favourites - that's the whole lot then - at 9.00pm.

Thanks for looking today, I really appreciate you taking the time.

And keep crafting!

STAMPlorations Digi Inspiration

I'm super excited to be here today with some more inspiration using STAMPlorations digi stamps.

STAMPlorations Digital Store

I'm using the Coffee and Roses set. This is a set of 10 which includes 4 coffee cup stamps, 3 oval frames and 3 rectangular frames as well as a bonus sheet of printable tags - such a bargain!

This oval frame digi is so beautiful that I simply coloured it using Copic pens in pale almost not there shades. I then added a little extra interest by cutting round the edge of the roses on the left hand side.

I added a sentient from Imagine and matted it all onto a pale lavender card base.

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations, Rose Oval Frame Black Grunge Text In Frame, Imagine
Ink: Versafine Clair,nocturne
Pens: Copic, E000, BV000, YG63, C1, C3

My second card is a step away from my usual CAS style and I got busy with layering it all up!

I actually flipped the coffee cup image so that the handle is on the right as I thought it suited the design I had in mind better. The greeting is a CUTplorations die and I cut it several times for extra impact.

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations, Coffee and Roses
Die: CUTplorations, Life is Good
Colours: Prisma Color, cream, light peach, peach, process red, pink, blush pink, lime peel, olive green, light umber, dark brown, white
Punch: ek border
Embellishments: lace & buttons from my stash; Glossy Accents

Shery has very generously included a chance to win a prize with the introductions to her new range of digital stamps - all you have to do is leave comments round the blogs of the new Digi DT and it could be you who wins a $15 gift code to be spent at either the main or digital store.  Find all the details and the mini hop participants on the STAMPlorations blog HERE.

Thanks so much for joining me today, it's been fun to have your company for a while.

And keep crafting!
