Uniko - Stencil Release & Giveaway

 Hello!

So today is release day for Uniko's November Stencils.

Here they all are:

I've a couple more cards to share in case you've not quite made up your mind yet.

This first card uses the beautiful Large Snowflake Two stencil with some additional stamped interest from Background Builders Winter Wonderland.

My second card uses the MOD Background Builder stencil combined with the So Much stamp set.

Now how about that giveaway.

Leave a comment on all the DT blogs or social media posts - find them all HERE. Bev will be randomly selecting one lucky winner to receive all of the stencils being released today. You have until Midnight Wednesday 9th November to leave comments and the winner will be announced on Thursday 10th November 2022.

Thanks so much for looking today.

Uniko - Introducing Large Snowflake 1 & Large Snowflake 2 Stencils

 Hello!

Welcome to the final day of introductions to Uniko's November stencil release.

Today there are two of the most beautiful snowflake stencils to choose from - you're going to want them both!

I've a couple of cards to share:

For my first card I used Large Snowflake Two the snowflake mask to get the shadow effect and then placed the stencil over to add in some more defined colour to the centre. I then stamped and die cut the greeting using BIG & BOLD Snow.

My second card uses Large Snowflake One with the same colours and a similar technique - stencilling the focal image and using the mask to create a subtle background.

Well that's all the introductions complete. Come back tomorrow for the release day and details about a super giveaway.

Thanks for looking.

Stay safe and keep crafting!

Uniko - Introducing Flower Power #6 Stencil

 Hello!

Welcome to day 2 of introductions to Uniko's November stencil release.

A welcome addition to the Flower Power Series. The #6 stencil has the opportunity to layer up just like its matching stamp set.

Check out my cards:

Once I'd finished inking up the stencil I used the BIG & BOLD Happy die to cut through the card. I also cut a few more layers of the background die to add extra dimension.

I kept the same autumnal colours for my second card and built up a spray up the left hand side. I then used the templates that come with this set to add a shadowy effect. The sentiment is from Birthday Wishes.

So just one more introduction to go. And I think tomorrow's is perhaps my favourite - think chilly!

Thanks so much for looking today.

Stay safe and keep crafting!

Uniko - Introducing MOD Background Builder Stencil

 Hello

Welcome to the first day of introductions to Uniko's November stencil release.

I love the symmetry of this stencil and created a couple of cards in shades of blue and green.

I left this first card without a sentiment as I thought it could be used as a notelet. The next card I added Congratulations from Everyday Sentiments.

So what do you think? A really useful addition to your stencil stash I'm thinking.

Come back tomorrow for the next introduction - one to match Uniko's fabulous Flower Power series.

Thanks for looking.
Stay safe and keep crafting!

Uniko BA Inspiration

Hello!

I'm up on the Uniko blog today CASEing a couple of my older cards.

I so enjoyed seeing all the Alumni cards during February's birthday month that I decided to give it a go myself.

So I dug back in history to December 2016 and here's the first card I decided to bring bang up to date:

This card used BIG & BOLD Snow and Stunning Snowflakes and my new version uses BIG & BOLD You and the newly re-released Fun Flowers.

I kept to a similar colour scheme and the same layout, but changed up the sequins to clear drops.

And from the same time I've chosen this very CAS card to CASE.

It uses Stunning Snowflakes and my new version uses Fun Flowers and Everyday Sentiments.

This time I also kept to the same design, but completely changed the colours.

I always used to round the bottom right corner of my cards and have tried this again for both of my updated cards. What do you think?

I hope you have enjoyed this little trip down memory lane and encourage you to do the same - it's so fun looking back.

Thanks for looking today, it's been fabulous to have your company.

Stay safe and keep crafting!

Uniko February Release Day

 Hey!

It's release day at Uniko!

And I'm having a Fun Flowers frenzy!

This card is just perfect for anyone who doesn't like to colour as I simply stamped all the images onto coloured card stock, cut them out and adhered them to a cascading card base.

Another bonus of this card is that there were enough flowers and leaves left over to decorate a small gift bag. I added in a greeting from Everyday Sentiments stamped onto a tag to finish it all off.

And finally as I was having such a Fun Flowers fest I used the gorgeous Fun Flower Spray mask to create one last card. Such depth it almost looks 3D.

The greeting is from BIG & BOLD You.

OK I'll leave you in peace now to get on with your shopping. Have fun!

And stay safe and keep crafting!

Uniko February Release - Introducing Framed Balloons

 Hello!

Last day of introductions to Uniko's 10th Birthday February release.

And if you're a big fan of balloons like me this stamp will be right up your street.

Not only is this stamp super fun it's also the answer to creating a quick but awesome card and looks totally different as you change up the colours.

I chose blue, green and yellow for my first card. Yep! No pinks and purples!

Just the hint of purple in my next card as I used the whole rainbow of colours through the Mixed Mini Geometrics stencil. I then trimmed off the top part of the stamp and once coloured to match popped it up onto pads for dimension.

My last card gives the small present and Happy Birthday included in the set the chance to shine on a much more CAS styled card. I added a floral frame to the stamps using the Fun Flowers Stencil and Mask introduced yesterday.

So now all the introductions are complete. Everything from this release will be available to purchase in the store from 9.00am tomorrow, 27th February.

And I'll be back with some more samples in case you still need a little help in making your mind up about which to buy. Hope to see you tomorrow.

But until then stay safe and keep crafting!

Uniko February Release - Introducing Fun Flowers & Stencils

 Hello!

And welcome to day 3 of the introductions to Uniko's 10th birthday February release.

Some of you may recognise this stamp set as it was originally released back in 2016, but Bev thought it was time to give it some more love so it's back in 2022 with two new co-ordinating stencils/masks.

My first card uses the Fun Flowers Stencil and Mask combined with the BIG & BOLD You stamps introduced yesterday.

Next I'm sharing a card using the Fun Flowers Spray Mask and a bit of foiling. First I used the stencil to apply green ink as a background and then I laid the mask inside and inked it up with Versamark.

I don't have any fancy machine to foil so I used WOW sticky embossing powder instead. It gives a subtle distressed look to the floral.

The photo below shows a bit more of how it looks in real life.

And finally I'm sharing a card using the Fun Flowers stamps on top of an ombre background created using the original Fun Flower stencil.

OK so just one more day of introductions left and if you're a big fan of balloons like me you're going to love it!

So while you're waiting for the last reveal why not pop over to the Uniko blog and give the quests a try.

Each quest has its own prize and if you complete all ten quests there is the chance to win an enormous £100 spend in the Uniko shop. Find a complete list of links to all the quests HERE.

Thanks for looking today.

Stay safe and keep crafting!

Uniko February Release - Introducing BIG & BOLD You and Flower Power #7 Stencil

 Hello!

Are you ready for the next introductions to Uniko's 10th birthday February release?

And have you been playing along with the quests?

Do you have a favourite?

I think mine has to be quest 7 when the Brand Ambassadors shared photos of themselves when they were around ten years old - HERE.

Anyway I digress, so here's today's introductions:

I'm kicking off with a card that uses the masks from the stencil. I still had the yellow and purple ink combo out on my desk from yesterday, but it looks completely different on today's card.

I just love that BIG & BOLD You combo on the above card, but it looks equally stunning as a simple thank you. I heat embossed the you and then hand cut it for even more oomph.

I masked off the panel, inked it up in a light blue and then used the stencil to add some darker colours.

My last card today is a very straightforward layered up inking through the stencils. I didn't want to cover the stencilling so I chose a smaller greeting from yesterday's intro of Everyday Sentiments.

Are you in love with this stencil? Well wait until you see tomorrow's!

Thanks for dropping by, hope you'll be back again to check out the intros tomorrow.

Stay safe and keep crafting!

Uniko February Release - Introducing Background Blocks Splatter, Background Blocks Cogs & Everyday Sentiments.

Hello!

I'm excited to be here today to share the first of the introductions to Uniko's 10th birthday month new release.

We're starting with a trio of those small but essential go-to type stamps.

Well of course with all the boys in my family my head went straight to a masculine card!

I stamped the cogs in a light aqua and then re-inked the stamp more lightly in the blue to get this two toned effect. I then added two greetings to finish it all off.

Next I put the splatter to use and managed to guide my head away from masculine - although it would be perfect for those type of cards - and paired it up with Beautiful Blooms II.

I love how the splatter gives a watercoloured look without any need to have the skill.

My final card for today also pairs up the splatter with an older stamp set - Pure Florals Lily. This time I used the with sympathy sentiment and some more sombre colours.

So that's day one of the introductions done. Come back tomorrow when another essential stamp and a gorgeous new stencil is on the menu.

Thanks for your time today and stay safe and keep crafting!
