Uniko February Release - Introducing Background Blocks Splatter, Background Blocks Cogs & Everyday Sentiments.

Hello!

I'm excited to be here today to share the first of the introductions to Uniko's 10th birthday month new release.

We're starting with a trio of those small but essential go-to type stamps.

Well of course with all the boys in my family my head went straight to a masculine card!

I stamped the cogs in a light aqua and then re-inked the stamp more lightly in the blue to get this two toned effect. I then added two greetings to finish it all off.

Next I put the splatter to use and managed to guide my head away from masculine - although it would be perfect for those type of cards - and paired it up with Beautiful Blooms II.

I love how the splatter gives a watercoloured look without any need to have the skill.

My final card for today also pairs up the splatter with an older stamp set - Pure Florals Lily. This time I used the with sympathy sentiment and some more sombre colours.

So that's day one of the introductions done. Come back tomorrow when another essential stamp and a gorgeous new stencil is on the menu.

Thanks for your time today and stay safe and keep crafting!

  3. I wondered how you did the inking on the first and the mix of grunge splatter and flowers works well too. :)

  4. Three fab cards, Jane. The two tone cogs look great and your handling of the splatters stamps is wonderful, they work so well with outline florals x

  5. Gorgeous, Jane ! This first card could have been mine... how come it's not in purple? Absolutely beautiful with these two blue shades. Love the splatters together with the outlined flowers, a gorgeous technique and a quicker one than colouring ! x
