Time For Tea Designs - June Challenge Reminder

I'm here to remind you all about the June challenge that is going on at Time For Teas Designs.

I've created another scene card to encourage you to join in and play along. I used the windmill scene stamp from Up Up & Away as my background and added in some grassy strips using the Landscape Edge dies.

I've used the delightful critters from Life's Ups and Downs and as the main focus of my 3D card. The see saw is interactive and so easy to construct using the dies.

Supplies:
Stamps: T4TD, Life's Ups & Downs + dies, Up Up & Away + dies, smaller elements from Woodland Critters + dies & Fairy Garden + dies
Imk: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, YG01, YG03, YG17, YG67, G94, B000, B00, B01, BO2, B04, YR14, YR16, YR68, N1, N3, Y35, R20, R27, E42, E43, E44, E47, W3, W5

I really hope you'll join in with this challenge and maybe win a prize. If you pop over to the challenge blog - HERE - you will be able to see the winners of the May Challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, as always it's been a pleasure to have your company.

Funky Fossil June Release - Introducing Ferns

Today's introduction to Funky Fossil's June release is one of those really useful stamps sets that you'll be reaching for all the time. And there's also a set of dies too!

I've gone super bright and colourful for my first card inspired by the Mixed Media Kaleidoscope papers which I've used as a matt. And as the colours made me smile I've added a matching sentiment from Graphic Words.

Ink: Memento, tuxedo black, dandelion, pear tart, tangelo, rose bud, lilac posies, grape jelly, bahama blue, love letter

Keeping with some pretty bright colours I've paired up the papers from Mixed Media Kaleidoscope with the new to this release Neutrals, added in a bit of the matching washi and a sentiment from Wild & Free.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, sentiment from Wild & Free
Papers: Funky Fossil, Mixed Media Kaleidoscope, Neutrals
Dies: Funky Fossil, Ferns

My final card for today sticks with the Mixed Media Kaleiescope papers and the fern dies. I stamped a background using the A7 Woodgrain stamp and added in the same sentiment from Wild & Free.

Funky Fossil June Release - Introducing Flowery Felines

So here we are for Day 2 of the Funky Fossil new release introductions. And Donna has done it again!

Aren't they just the cutest ever?

For my first card I started by preparing a background using Chevrons from the A7 stamps sets. I stamped it out seven times using the colours of the rainbow and then cut each one into strips. The strips were adhered to scrap paper and then die cut into a rectangle.

The banner is from Let's Party.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Flowery Felines, Chevrons, banner from Let's Party
Ink: Memento, love letter, tangelo, dandelion, pear tart, bahama blue, grape jelly, lulu lavender
Pens: Copic, R27, YR68, Y08, YG03, B04, V09, BV11, N1, N7, RV14, W1, W3
Dies: Lil'inker, stitched mats rectangles

My next card uses the same idea - got to use up those leftover strips - but this time I used a square die and placed the strips horizontally.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Flowery Felines, Chevrons, banner from Let's Party
Ink: Memento, love letter, tangelo, dandelion, pear tart, bahama blue, grape jelly, lulu lavender
Pens: Copic, B000, R27, YR68, Y08, YG03, B04, V09, BV11, C1, C3, C5
Dies: Lawn Fawn, stitched squares

My final share today is shaker card. I created a background for the window using the Round Tree stencil and pink ink onto yellow cardstock.

The shaker window was formed using the Polaroid Frame die and I carefully picked out all the cat confetti from a mixed animal pack to fill it.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Flowery Felines, sentiment from Let's Party
Stencil: Funky Fossil, Round Tree
Die: Funky Fossil, Polaroid Frame
Inks: Memento, rose bud, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, N1, N3, N5, RV04, RV09, Y08
Confetti: Lucy's Little Things, Menagerie

How fun are these delicious kitties from Donna? Bet they're already on your wishlist!

Tomorrow see the next introduction and is something timeless and traditional. See you then!

Thanks for dropping by today, i really love having a bit of company.

Stay safe and keep crafting!

Funky Fossil June Release - Introducing Coffee & Friends

Do you like coffee? Well today's introduction to Funky Fossil's new release could be for you then.

For my first card I used the coffee coloured papers from the pack and adhered them in strips to scrap card before die cutting the coffee bean heart.  I added a left over strip to the bottom of the card and then die cut the word coffee several times as the greeting.

Supplies:
Dies: Funky Fossil, Coffee Bean Heart
Papers: Funky Fossil, Neutrals

Kraft card always speaks coffee to me so for my next card I die cut a label and stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set. I then added a background panel using the Coffee Bean Heart stencil and stamped some layers using the Machinery and Vintage Script A7 stamps.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Coffee & Friends, Machinery, Vintage Script
Ink: Memento, espresso truffle, rhubarb stalk
Stencil: Funky Fossil, Coffee Bean Heart
Pens: Copic, E23, R37
Dies: MFT Die-namics, stitched traditional tags, stitched jumbo fishtail banner; Xcut, spiro circle
Twine from my stash

My final card for today uses the Coffee & Friends stamps set combined with Grungy from one of the A7 background & textures set. I used the stencil Coffee Cup, drew round the inside and cut it out. The greeting is the die cut several times for depth and dimension.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Coffee & Friends, Grungy
Stencil: Funky Fossil, Coffee Cup
Washi: Funky Fossil, Neutrals
Die: Funky Fossil, Coffee Bean Heart
Inks: Memento, peanut brittle

Well that's my shares done for today. Come back tomorrow for another introduction - one of Donna's designs which you will adore!

Thanks for your time, I really appreciate you visiting my blog.

AAA Cards Challenge #192 - One Corner + optional twist Childhood Memories

A new challenge has just started at AAA Cards

Why not join in with the fun?

My childhood memories are so far back it's almost ancient history, but I wanted to include the twist as well as the main One Corner theme.

Bet you can't guess which memory I'm showcasing!

Did you think bird watching? Well no it's not the bird but rather the tree branch it's sitting on.

Way back when it was safe to let children roam free I remember spending many days outside exploring the chalk hills down the road from where I lived, climbing trees, making dens and only returning home when I was hungry.

How times change!

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Wild & Free
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black, summer sky
Pens: Copic, E25, E53, E55, E57, E59, C0, YG09, G07

I'm wondering if any of you have similar memories and will share them with us at AAA Cards for this challenge. Just remember that CAS and One Corner are the compulsory elements.

Do pop over to AAA Cards to check out the DT cards and our amazing Guest Designer Marieke has a fab card to share too.

Thanks so much for your time today, it's always great fun to have you visit my blog.

Stay safe and keep crafting!

Friday Focus

I'm joining in with the Bottoms Up Challenge at Happy Little Stampers.

Well my immediate thoughts went to ducks sticking their bottoms in the air when they look for food. So that's what I went with!

I started by cutting a bottom section for the water using the T4TD Landscape Edge die set. I inked this up with oxides in two colours, splattered it with water and then adhered it onto a base card.

Next I stamped, coloured and die cut the images using T4TD Lucky Ducks. Once they were all placed I stamped the greeting and couldn't resist adding in the little bee.

Supplies:
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black; Versafine Clair nocturn for the sentiment; Ranger distress oxide, salty ocean, cracked pistachio
Dies: T4TD, Landscape Edge
Pens: Copic, B00, G02, G05, BG15, E42, E43, E44, N7, R14, YR04, YR07

Thanks so much for stopping by today, it's so much more fun when you do.

Stay safe and keep crafting!
