White with 1 - April Challenge

It's time for a new scrapbook challenge at White with 1. For April there is a sketch to follow as well as the additional colour of lime.

I went with some outdoor fun photos to pair up with the lime colour.

I trawled through my stash of papers and found quite a few scraps in the correct colour. But I decided to extend this collection by adding in some stamped images too.

Once all the papers and photos were placed I then finished off my page with stickers, journalling and a die cut.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Large Background -  French Script, Sketched Foliage & Tropical Paradise
Inks: SU, lemon lime twist
Papers: Scraps from my stash
Die: Marianne, notepad
Alphas: AC Thickers, Memo
Stickers: MAMBI, AC Garden Goodness, Kaisercraft, ep Celebrate Easter, Paperchase puffy hearts, Elle's Studio puffy hearts, ep Have Faith enamel dots, MME Necessities wooden shapes

I hope my page may have inspired you to play along with this challenge and I thank you for dropping by today.

Keep safe, stay indoors and craft instead.

Monday Moment

Today I'm sharing a card I created to play along with the STAMPlorations March CAS Challenge.

Here's my card:

I started by creating a little background interest with the Dotty Frame stencil from Funky Fossil. I used a Stampin Up ink, soft sky, to include the optional colour twist.

I then stamped the stretching cat from Cattitude and decided as some of the blue spots showed through from the stencil I might as well go the whole hog and colour the cat up blue too! I used my Copic pens and added a little light beige into the colour mix too.

I finished off by stamping the paw prints and greeting from the same Funky Fossil stamp set. Don't you just love this rather superior expression on his face?

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Cattitude
Inks: SU, soft sky; Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, B12, E50

Thanks so much for dropping by today, I really appreciate you taking the time.

Keep safe, stay home and craft!

AAA Cards Game #162 - Made In Minutes + optional twist Use A Stencil

It's time for a new challenge over at AAA Cards and it's one of my favourite themes - Made In Minutes.

Funky Fossil is the sponsor for this challenge and as the optional twist is Use a Stencil that's just what I've done!

Funky Fossil have a new release available at the moment with 10% off orders until midnight tomorrow 30th March. They are also including a freebie stencil with all orders throughout April and there's a chance to win all five stamp sets in their new release. Check it all out HERE.

I created a little scene at the top and bottom of my card using Funky Fossil's Scenic Borders and then stamped some birds flying free and a sentiment quote from Adventure. Don't we all envy those birds at the moment!

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Adventure
Inks: Ranger distress oxide, pine needles, bundled sage; Ranger distress, spun sugar, shaded lilac; Versafine Clair, nocturne
Stencil: Funky Fossil, Scenic Borders

Well your adventures might be put on hold for the time being, but I hope you're well and will find time to join in with this challenge instead.

We've got Sandie from London Days joining in as our Guest Designer and the AAA Cards DT have really pulled the stops out - as they always do - and created fantastic inspiration for you. Find it all HERE.

Thanks so much for looking today, I really appreciate you checking in with me.

Keep safe, stay home and craft instead!

So do you have a favourite? Well here's some cards to help you make up your mind!

Funky Fossil Pre-Release Peeks - Funky Florals

OK today is the final day of Funky Fossil pre-release peeks and it's a really gorgeous stamp set with endless possibilities.

No photo description available.

My first card uses a washed wood background paper and I stamped the large floral cluster several times onto different patterned papers.

Once I'd hand cut and glued all the paper pieced elements I then went back in with Miya oil pencils to add some shading and detail. I finished it all off with some ruby pearls.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Funky Florals, Happy Words
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne + clear embossing powder
Papers: Polkadoodles, Peeled Paint & Butterfly Daisy
Colours: Miya oil pencil
Embellishments: coloured pearls from my stash

My second card uses the same large floral cluster and I coloured using Copic pens.

I added some gems to the flower centres and used a sentiment from Happy Words on a stitched banner.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Funky Florals, Happy Words
Ink: Versafine Clair, nocturne + clear embossing powder
Colours: Copic, YG63, YG67, G21, E50, C0, V01, V12, V15, V17, RV55, RV63, RV66
Die: Lil'inker, stitched mats long & skinny rectangles
Embellishments: YNS Gumdrops, Bling It On

My final card uses many of the smaller stamps from this set.

I stamped and heat embossed the leaves, flowers and scrolls and then applied water mixed brusho colours on top. I die this panel and matted it onto black card stock.

I used a small piece of the cut off background to stamp and heat embossed the sentiment from Happy Words.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Funky Florals, Happy Words
Inks: Brusho, turquoise, orange, yellow, leaf green, brilliant red; Versamark + black embossing powder; Versafine Clair, nocturne
Die: MFT Die-namics, stitched basic edges

Well that's all the pre-release peeks completed. I hope you've enjoyed what you've seen and have been checking out what the rest of the Funky Fossil DT have been creating with them too.

Be sure to come back tomorrow for a final bit of DT inspiration and then it's over to you to place your order and show us the beautiful things you create with them all.

Thanks for your time today.  Keep safe, stay indoors and craft instead!

Funky Fossil March Pre-Release Peeks - Cattitude

Oh wow! You are so going to love today's pre-release peek at Funky Fossil's new March release!

Image may contain: drawing, possible text that says 'Enjoy! Have a purrfect day Party with Cattitude Live life with'

These adorable cats are just so much fun to craft with!

For my first card I used the three cats and kept them coloured in mainly simple greys. The colour is all confined to the background apart from the hat.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Cattitude
Inks: Ranger distress oxide, squeezed lemonade, spiced marmalade, picked raspberry, wilted violet
Colours: Copic, RV00, C1, C3, C5, C7; Miya oil paencils
Die: Lawn Fawn, Four Quare Backdrop Portrait

I went super CAS with my next card and chose the cat head and footprint stamps.

I used a Kaleidacolor ink pad for the stamping and then coloured up the cat in matching Miya oil pencil colours.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Cattitude
Inks: Kaleidacolor, cappuccino delight
Die: MFT Die-namics, rectangle peek-a-boo window
Colours: Miya oil pencils

For my last card today I went all colourful and chose non-typical cat shades!

I added some sprinkles from the Cupcake set that I shared on Tuesday and used another Kaleidacolor ink pad. Sarah asked me if the cat had over indulged at his party because of the green face, but honestly that was not the look I meant to achieve!

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Cattitude
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black; Kaleidacolor, caribbean sea
Die: Lawn Fawn, stitched scalloped rectangle frames
Colours: Copic, YG01, B04, BG15; Miya oil pencils; Wink of Stella, silver & clear

Well that's another day of peeks over and one more left  tomorrow before you can put in your order and shop to your heart's content.

Thanks so much for dropping by today, I really appreciate it.

Stay safe, stay indoors and craft instead!
