White With 1 - December Challenge

It's already December in Australia so of course the new White With 1 challenge has started.

Well that colour screamed Christmas to me, so I went routing through last years' photos to see if there were any that I'd missed.

I've been hoarding this reindeer paper for far too long and I'm pleased to have put it to good use on this page.

I also raided my stash for all the embellishments and had fun stacking them up in the three places indicted on the sketch.

Supplies:
Papers: Echo Park, Celebrate Christmas; scraps from my stash
Punch: ek, scalloped edger
Embellishments: gifted from Helen my Australian penpal
Stickers: Simple Stories, Misteltoe kisses & Handmade Holidays
Alphas: Simple Stories, Legacy

I'm sad to say that this will be my last gig with White With 1. I've really been struggling with creating scrapbook pages as every time I sit down to put one together I get a bit emotional and realise how much I'm missing this year due to Covid. Then I don't want to scrap any more and put it all away. So I made the decision to step down, but who knows maybe 2021 will be a better year and I'll start scrapping again and play along with their challenges. I really hope so, but I'm fearful that there is still a very long way to go.

Thanks so much for dropping by today, it's been very much appreciated.

Stay safe and try to keep crafting!

Polkadoodles Christmas Holiday Too Cute Release - Bella Bear Delivering Gifts

Are you loving these cute new digi stamps from Polkadoodles? Me too! Today it's the turn of Bella Bear Delivering Gifts.

I created a background by die cutting a stitched circle and placing a digi interlocking circles paper from Winnie White Christmas Papers 3 behind it.

Bella was then coloured in matching shades using Copic pens and popped up onto pads before adhering over the window.

The sentiment is from Christmas Fishes and I used a Posydoodles die cut tag for the Happy.

Polkadoodles Christmas Holiday Too Cute Release - Agnes Ice Skating

Today I'm sharing the next of my DT cards created with the Polkadoodles Christmas Holiday Too Cute Digi Release. I'm using another of the super cute elephant digis - Agnes Ice Skating.

I cut a mask for Agnes and then created a chilly tree background using the Park Life stencil and the icy skating rink using Textures Galore. I matted this onto a paper from Wintertime.

Agnes was coloured using Copic pens in traditional Christmas reds and green once the mask was removed. I added a sentiment in the bottom left corner using a stamp from Christmas Fishes.

Polkadoodles Christmas Holiday Too Cute Release - Eli Elephant Splashing Puddles

Today I'm sharing the first of my DT cards created with the Polkadoodles Christmas Holiday Too Cute Digi Release. I'm kicking off with one of my favourites from this release Eli Elephant Splashing Puddles.

I die cut a stitched circle using Posydoodles Circles and Christmas Blessings paper to create a snowy background for Eli. I snipped off the puddle and attached a punched snowflake to the boot to cover up where the puddled joins the boot.

I added some extra punched snowflakes and a strip of left over paper and used Copic pens to colour Eli in toning shades to the paper. I finished off my cad by adding a sentiment from Christmas Fishes.

Thursday Thoughts

Today I'm sharing the card I created for the STAMPlorations Stencil Challenge.

I had someone in mind when I chose the products for this card.

I know they love Scotland and this Geometric Stag stencil jumped out of my stash. I inked through it with black as I wanted it to look very dramatic and imposing. Then before I lifted the stencil I added sparkle using a Wink of Stella pen.

A simple sentiment from Festive Phrases and I was done.

Here's a closer pic to show the sparkle.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Festive Phrases
Stencil: Funky Fossil, Geometric Stag
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black; Wink of Stella, clear

Huge thanks for stopping by today. I really appreciate you taking the time.

Polkadoodles Winnie North Pole Digi Release - Production Line

I'm back again with another super cute image from the Polkadoodles Winnie North Pole Release. Today I'm using Production Line and this could just be my favourite of them all.

Well they all look like they're having fun packing up the Christmas gifts, but maybe that little gingerbread girl going down the chute to Santa's sleigh is just too excited. Winnie is giving her such a look!

I printed an extra copy of this image and popped some of them up onto foam pads for extra dimension. the papers I used are from Scrumptious Sugar.

I'll be back tomorrow with my final share of cards using this new release, but in the meantime you can see all the the stamps and loads more DT inspiration over at Polkadoodles - HERE.

Polkadoodles Winnie North Pole Digi Release - Santa's Suit

Another awesome image from the Polkadoodles Winnie North Pole Release to share today. I'm using Santa's Suit - looks like Winnie has indulged in a little shopping!

I cut three decreasing in size windows using Posydoodles circle dies to create a faux tunnel look. I used papers from Christmas Blessings and Scrumptious Sugar and then coloured the image to match.

AAA Cards Challenge #179 Along The Edge + optional twist Snowflakes

It's time for a new challenge over at AAA Cards.

The sponsor for this challenge is Uniko and I've used Uniko stamps for my DT card.

I actually made two versions of this card and then couldn't make up my mind which colourway to choose as my DT card. In the end I plumped for the crisp white background, but I'm sharing them both in this post.

I used two colours of ink pads to stamp the snowflakes and added in some extra sparkle with Stickles on the aqua version.

Supplies:
Inks: Memento, grape jelly, danube blue
Other: Stickles, Stardust

Be sure to pop over to AAA Cards to check out all the other awesome inspiration from the DT, our Guest Designer Neeti and the wonderful Bev from Uniko.

Polkadoodles Winnie North Pole Release - North Pole

Another awesome image from the Polkadoodles Winnie North Pole Release to share today. And I'm using the super cute North Pole digi.

I constructed a twisted easel card and added papers from All About The Dudes - not a typical Christmas paper pack but I love the cool icy colours and the plaid pattern.

I added a little sparkle using silver non shed glitter card and die cut the layers into an oval using Posydoodles Ovals.

Uniko Challenge #61 - 'Tis The Season + optional twist Sparkle

Time for the last 2020 challenge at Uniko. The theme is the obvious one for this time of year and I've noticed folks are putting up their decorations really early this year to try to bring a bit of sparkle to their lives.

Well unusually for me I've missed out the sparkle from my card and chosen a simple black, white and red colour scheme instead.

I went with a landscape slimline card and used my favourite Uniko wreath stamp and a couple of trees to frame it.

Supplies:
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black, lady bug

Loads more inspiration over on the Uniko blog - HERE. So take a look then maybe get your sparkle on and join in with the fun.

Thanks for stopping by today, I really appreciate you taking the time.

So what do you think? Fun or what?

Inks: Memento, tuxedo black, rose bud

Polkadoodles Too Cute Christmas Release - Christmas Fishes

Today I'm sharing my final showcase of the recent Polkadoodles stamp release. And what a gorgeous one to leave to last - The Christmas Fishes set features those mega adorable gnomes!

I created an icy background for the fishing gnome using one of the Christmas Hoilday Layering stencils. I stamped the image first and then masked it off. I also masked off the top section of the card. I applied a layer of tumbled glass distress ink and then added the stencil on top and used speckled egg.

I'm thinking that a line of those dangling fish would look good across the top of card - a bit like a string of fishy baubles!

I kept my second card quite CAS using my favourite purples and aqua blues. I grounded the gnomes using a narrow strip of washi tape. There is another version of this card on the Polkadoodles  shop site using the Park Life stencil.

Thanks so much for looking today. I hope you have enjoyed this and my other posts featuring the Polkadoodles Too Cute Christmas release. Find all the stamp sets HERE.
