Funky Fossil July Release Christmas Album

Have you seen the amazing Christmas products in the July Funky Fossil release?

I was so inspired by them all that I created this mini journal album using the Merry & Bright papers.

The front of the album features images and a sentiment from Nordic Noel all coloured up to match the papers.

I created pockets to tuck things into on the first two pages, one diagonal and one horizontal. I used the matching washi tape to bind over the pocket edges and popped in some tags in one and receipts in the other. The images are from Nordic Noel.

The next two pages have spaces for journalling or adding photos. the one on the left has a lift up flap and the one on the right has a zig-zag fold out. I used the Christmas tree dies and a sentiment from Enchanted Christmas to decorate the front of each flap.

The next two pages have more spaces for journalling or photos. The belt on the left holds a pull out card and the card on the right opens up to reveal one of the Naughty or Nice fairies - see photo below. The bauble is from Enchanted Christmas and the deer is from Nordic Noel.

I finished off the mini album with two more pocket pages echoing the first two pages. I tucked in some small tags stamped with Christmas sentiments from Nordic Noel and decorated the fronts using images from Nordic Noel, Enchanted Christmas and the Christmas tree dies.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Nordic Noel, Enchanted Christmas,Naughty or Nice
Paper: Funky Fossil, Merry & Bright
Dies: Funky Fossil, Christmas Trees
Embellishments: Funky Fossil, enamel dots, Merry & Bright washi
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, E000, E00, E50, E51, E53, E55, R20, R29, R39, R59, R89, YG01, YG03, YG17, YG67, YG97, C0, C1, C3

So what do you think of my mini album? It may well be on The Craft Store TV today as Sarah is bringing the new release goodies there.

AAA Birthday Challenge #28 - Photo Inspiration

I'm really excited to tell you about the August challenge at AAA Birthday.

It's being sponsored by Varada Sharma and there's the chance to win a $10 spend on her digis for one randomly drawn winner.

How amazing is that?

Varada has also kindly gifted the AAA Birthday DT with some of her digis so that you can see how fantastic they are.

I've used Daisies & Bleeding Hearts and Celebration for the main focal images on my card.

I arranged the digis using photoshop and then printed it out a second time and die cut it into a stitched circle. I just coloured that part of the image using the colours from the photo inspiration.

Supplies:
Stamps: Varada Sharma digis, Daisies & Bleeding Hearts, Celebration, sentiment from Bird House
Dies: MFT Die-namic, double stitched circles; T4TD, Sentient die from Be Kind Be You
Pens: Copic, YG63, G85, Y06, R21, R22, R35, BG01, B02

Be sure to pop over to AAA Birthday to see how our Guest Designer Rachelle and the rest of the DT have been inspired by the photo. And many of the DT have also showcased Varada Sharma's beautiful digis too.

Huge thanks for dropping by today, I always love it when you do.

Time For Tea Designs August Challenge

It's the 1st August and that means a brand new challenge at Time For Tea Designs.

How about that for a fabulous summery August mood board?

It was the colours that reached out to me first and especially the grass. So I started by using some of the Brighter Days papers and the Landscape Edges and Inverted Scallop Frame dies.

I created a summer sky using the Slimline Scene Builder stencil and then added in the main images from Bears Picnic and some smaller elements and a sentiment from Blooming Bunnies.

Just look at that ant - think he's after the picnic!

Supplies:
Stamps: T4TD, Bears Picnic + dies, Blooming Bunnies
Stencil: T4TD, Slimline Scene Builder
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black, summer sky
Paper: T4TD, Brighter Days
Pens: Copic, E41, E42, R20, R27, R29, C00, C3, Y08, Y19, YG17; Sakura white gel

I really hope you love this mood board as much as I do and will be joining in with the August challenge. There are two fantastic prizes and as the challenge is still new not too many crafters have discovered it yet - good chance of winning then!

If you don't have any T4TD goodies yet there are some freebie digis and you can always use my code to get 10% off any purchase - T4TJANE10

Thanks for stopping by today, it's always so much more fun when you do.

Time For Tea Designs - Bee Happy Stamps & Dies

Hi everyone!

Have you been enjoying the Time For Tea Designs new release?

Well I've three cards to share today which are sort of part of the new release. I'm using the Bee Happy stamps and dies, both released previously but the dies re-stocked due to popular demand.

For this card I chose the sunny yellow paper from Sweet Summer and inked up a stencilled panel using Large Roses.

I went for the honey eating bee - love his little tongue poking out and the honey pot and twirler for my images. The sentiments are from the same set.

Supplies:
Stamps: T4TD, Bee Happy + dies
Stencil: T4TD, Large Roses
Paper: T4TD, Sweet Summer
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black, cantaloupe, peanut brittle
Pens: Copic, R27, R29, R83, BG01, BG11, E40, Y17, YR04, YR07, YR12; Sakura white glaze; Wink of Stella, clear

My next card also uses papers from Sweet Summer and I die cut them using the  Landscape Edge Standalon set to create a summer background.

The clouds and picket fence are from the Windmill Add On set. The stitched detail on the clouds is so cute.

I chose the flying bee with a basket of flowers making his way back to the hive and popped it up onto foam pads for dimension.

Supplies:
Stamps: T4TD, Bee Happy + dies
Dies: T4TD, Windmill Add On Set, Landscape Edge Set
Paper: T4TD Sweet Summer
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, YR02, YR07, R02, R81, R83, R85, BG32, BG34, E40, W1, W3; Sakura white glaze; Wink of Stella, clear

For my final card I created the background using the stencil Slimline Scene Builder

I used the branch from the set as a mini tree and added in two of the bees. They both have such adorable little faces.

In my mind both bees were visiting the hive home of another bee on their friend's birthday. It's so easy to imagine stories to go with all of Jo's cute little critters!

Supplies:
Stamps: T4TD, Bee Happy + dies
Stencil: T4TD, Slimline Scene Builder
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black, summer sky, pear tart, bamboo leaves
Pens: Copic, Y08, Y19, R29, R59, E40, BG01, B02, YR04, YR07, TG95, YG97; Sakura white glaze; Wink of Stella, clear

Remember to use my code T4TJANE10 to get 10% off any order.

I'm really happy that you've stopped by to take a look at my blog today. huge thanks!

Polkadoodles Anything Goes Craft & Card Making Challenge

Time for another Friday Challenge at Polkadoodles. As always it's Anything Goes.

The theme the DT were asked to use for this week is Shopping.

I've used the mega cute Agnes Elephant Hat Shopping digi for my card. I love how she's struggling to decide which hat to buy! Once I'd printed her out I cut the card into a square using the largest stitched die from the Posydoodles Basics Squares die set. I added a stencilled background to one half of the square using Distressed Trellis.

I then matted up a background matching Agnes colours and repeated the triangle stencilled look by cutting a square of the Lily Bug Love Paper Heaven 2 digi paper in half. The sentiment is from Winnie Sunshine Delights Sentiment Bundle.

Supplies:
Ink: Memento, grape jelly
Stencil: Polkadoodles, Distressed Trellis
Dies: Polkadoodles, squares
Paper: Polkadoodles, Lily Bug Love Paper Heaven 2 digi
Pens: Copic, C0, C3, N3, N5, R20, RV17, RV55, V09, V17, G05, G17, E50, YG03, YG17; Sakura glaze, black & white

Thanks so much for dropping by today. I'll hope you'll find time to join in with this week's Polkadoodles Challenge - HERE. Remember it's always Anything Goes and there are prizes to be won so you've got nothing to lose by playing along.

Stay safe and keep crafting!
