Funky Fossil February Release - Introducing Lunar Blooms

 Hey!

Are beautiful florals your jam? 

Well you're going to adore the Lunar Blooms stamps then.

I did a bit of paper piecing for my first card and added my favourite sentiment from this set.

And then I reached for my trusty Copic pens and coloured up the same floral stamped twice off the edge. I used the Happy Birthday Sentiment die to finish off.

My final share uses the beautiful flower in the triangle frame and a bit of colour blending with the butterfly popped up above it. I also added a strip of Monochrome washi for interest down the side. The sentiment is a sneak peek from the set being introduced tomorrow.

How beautiful are these Lunar Blooms! 

But something completely different again tomorrow. After all a wide range of styles and tastes is what what Funky Fossil has become known for. A quirky one for the guys coming up - see you then!

Funky Fossil February Release - Introducing Bugs & Bloom Stamps & Doodle Bloom Dies

Hello! 

A real treat today as it's the next introduction and another of Donna Gray's unmistakable and amazing stamp sets. And a set of flowery dies in the same style!

How much fun did I have making sample cards! First up is one of the flowers and leaves paired up with that wonderful Flowerful paper pad and the Happy Birthday die.

Two of the cute critters get an airing on my next card along with the daisy type flower from Bugs & Blooms and some background plants from the Doodle Bloom die set.

And possibly the best ever and most adorable ever caterpillar says hello and I love you on my next card. I snipped off the and bugs from the sentiment as I'm not sure I want to be sending anyone bugs at the moment! Had to use some hearts as the background inked up through the Falling Hearts stencil.

My final two shares today are cards made using the Doodle Bloom dies and patterned papers. I think these flowers will also be sooo useful when I make scrapbook pages.

The papers above are from Mixed Media Kaleidoscope (currently out of stock - I think I must have bought it all!) and the ones below from Monochrome Magic.

Only two more days of introductions before all the products are available to purchase in the shop on Friday 26th February. Tomorrow is for flower lovers and Thursday is one for the guys.

Funky Fossil February Release - Introducing Spring Gnomes, Easter Egg & Twiggy Wreath Dies

Loads to share today!

Today's introductions contain some of my favourite products from this new release!

I'm kicking off with the Easter Egg dies. I blended some Spring colours onto card and then die cut the row of eggs. Super simple and super quick. The sentiment is from Spring Gnomes.

My next card is equally as simple and quick. This time I used the outline die to cut into white card and then filed the shapes by die cutting Flowerful patterned paper.

And now for the gnomes! 

I'm so delighted to see the gnomes in their Spring/Easter version. This sweet one holding on to a posy of snowdrops is just perfect for a thank you card and I popped him next to the stencilled Arched Window with some grasses from Scenic Borders at the bottom.

The next gnome has just discovered a nest of eggs. Are they chocolate do you think?

I've forced myself away from the gnomes for my last share of today. Don't worry they will be making a re-appearance on release day, 27th February.

The stunning Twiggy Wreath die is the main feature of this last card, although there is a guest appearance and sneak peek at an image from another stamp set being introduced later this week.

Swoon! I adore this die set!

Funky Fossil February Release - Introducing Footprints On The Moon

 Hello!

Calling all space fans! Check out this awesome new stamp set from the February Funky Fossil release.

Such an amazingly detailed and incredibly wonderful stamp set!

I really wanted the stamps to be the star of my first card and all that wonderful detail to be seen. So once I'd stamped them I created a mask and then inked through the Between The Cracks stencil to add some fire colours.

For my next card I combined the moon stamps with the A7 Maths Girl and sentiments from Small Print #2. Got to big up the science for girls!

And just maybe she'll be the one who discovers the aliens that feature on my next card - stencilled using Alien Invasion.

Uniko 10th Birthday Celebrations

 Hello!

I'm back again today with another birthday card to celebrate Uniko's 10th birthday.

I'm entering this card into the challenge at AAA Cards where it's a colour scheme of black and white with one other colour.

So of course it had to be CAS too. 

I've used Background Blocks Mid Century Modern II and Doodle Flowers to create a contemporary look of geometrics plus florals.

Funky Fossil February Release - Introducing Rock Chick

 Hey!

Soon be time for the February Funky Fossil release - Friday 25th February. So today I'm starting the introductions with a brilliant and fun stamp set - Rock Chick.

For my first card I've paired up the stamps with the gorgeous Flowerful paper from January's release - now available in a larger 8"x8" size!

The dancing diva Rock Chick on my second card just demanded to be In The Spotlight, so of course I obliged!

My final share for today uses the Cellular stencil in shades of aqua blue and the Banners die to create a colourful background for the crown wearing chick. Think he thinks he's a bit of mover and groover!

Uniko 10th Birthday Celebrations

Today I've a new card to share using the awesome Flower Power #5 stencil and matching stamp set.

 Simple to make, I just inked through the stencil with two colours of distress oxides - tumbled glass & villainous potion - and then stamped the matching outline flower on each of the petals. 

A bit of matting and layering and a sentiment from Floral Vines and I was done.
