I decided to use the sketch and colours from The Memory Nest for this page. I always prefer to start with a sketch and the colours just seemed so dreamy and romantic and suited to the photos. I flipped the sketch because I liked it better that way with my chosen photos and I shrunk the border strips so that they didn't distract the eye too much. I'm really pleased with this page and it was so good to work with more feminine colours for a change - my family is very male heavy.
I'm hoping that the weather stays dry as we're planning a family barbecue later today and I'm looking forward to capturing some memorable photos ready for when I'm in the scrapbooking frame of mind - which is nearly always!
Supplies:
Paper: background is from a Tim Holtz pad, accent papers from Basic Grey, lemonade
Punches: ek border punch; Martha Stewart, butterflies
Die: Spellbinders, picot circle; Xcut spiro circle
Alpha: American Crafts, thickers Hugs
Embellishments: glossy accents for butterfly middles
Thanks for looking.
Jane
