Tuesday Talk

A scrapbook page today, which is my greatest crafting love, but sadly gets far less response from blogland than my cards.

I used the tic-tac-toe board from 1,2,3 Get Scrappy for this layout - going straight across the middle - red, yellow, blue.

Even for me this is a very clean, simple, pared down page with loads of white space - well it's blue space really - but you know what I mean.  I've probably mentioned before that the photo always takes priority on my pages with journalling a close second.  Although I love to add embellishments and use patterned papers I never want them to overshadow or distract from the photo. Hey, that's just my style!

I absolutely adore this photo of my youngest - at the moment - grandson, emailed to me by my son.  I almost can't bear that he's looking so grown up after a whole year at school, but so far he's retained all of his pre-school character and his spirit - that's the loudness - has yet to be squashed!

Supplies:
Papers: Bazzill Basics blue card; doodlebug, kraft in color
Alphas: Lilybee designs, pinwheel
Stickers:  Lilybee designs, pinwheel

Thanks for spending some of your time looking at my blog today.

  1. I love your simple clean lines on this layout!! Its very well balanced and I love the focus on the photo, also!! My little granson is only 10 months and very loud like his father, who, at 31 is still loud!! So good luck! Thanks for joining our challenge at 123 Get Scrappy :)
