AAA Cards Game 28 - Inspire

First up a little announcement that I should have posted with game 27:
In order to still be the superwomen that we all are.........just for the season....
AAA Cards will run our challenges as 2 week games
in November and December.
Then we'll take two weeks off
(recovering from Christmas).
After that, we'll be refreshed and ready to
rock and roll back at weekly games.

And now on to this fortnight's game - a card with thanksgiving in mind or maybe just a thank you card if that's not your bag. And for this game we have the lovely Kimberly joining us as a guest designer - be sure to check out her blog, it's always full of vibrant inspiration.

As thanksgiving is not something we celebrate in the UK I went with a thank you card as my sample.

I chose an array of bright colours and stamped stars around the large sentiment - I was thinking that maybe there might be fireworks in the US for their celebrations and that's what inspired this explosion of stars.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko Studio, All Occasion Sentiments #3; SU, Point & Click; Lawn Fawn, Trim the Tree
Inks: SU, night of navy, calypso coral, crushed curry, tempting turquoise, melon mambo

Thanks for visiting today, hope you'll be inspired to join in the fun at AAA Cards. Enjoy the last day of your weekend!

  1. Jane!! Such a vibrant bright card!! I can't wait until we celebrate Thanksgiving! It will be awesome. Usually it is celebrated by a feast on Thursday, and no work for 4 days. However, since I was in college, I had split my time between my father and mother, so it started being celebrated on Thursday and then on Saturday..Saturday because some of my brothers worked all days.. with on weekends off. Now that I am married, we have a feast all 3 nights, and eat leftovers on Sunday. Not an overwhelming amount of food, just a few absolute favorites of each of ours. It may just be mashed potatoes and gravy as a MUST on the side dishes..but we all will enjoy Ham one night, Turkey the other with at least one very FAVE side dish. Mine is stuffing and cranberry sauce... glad my moms is the same, makes it easy!

Well I am thankful for this community and all of the wonderful people I have met that are so supportinve and inspiring! You my dear are one! I love how diverse you are, sewing, crafting, cards, layouts and MUCH MUCH more eye candy to "feast on'!!!

Thanks for letting me celebrate at AAA cards with you, and thanks for such the warm welcome!
