How's your weather? Have you had snow? Well here's your chance to get some on your cards. AAA Cards new challenge has the theme of Winter Wonderland.
As with all our 2016 challenges there's a prize for the winner and this fortnight it's from Make It Crafty. All the DT have used a digi stamp from Make It Crafty on their cards to showcase the brand.
I chose Jasmine drinking hot chocolate - don't we all in cold weather - and placed her onto a strip of sparkly silver tape in front of a snowy scene window. I kept all my colours to chilly shades of blue and grey and added some bokeh spots of glitter.
I die cut the square window and created my scene with masks and stamps before popping it back into the aperture to keep the layers to a minimum to stay CAS. Jasmine is mounted onto foam pads and I like the shadow this creates.
Stamps: Make It Crafty, Jasmine Hot Chocolate; Uniko, Background Builders Vines Winter Additions, Stunning Snowflakes
Ink: SU, soft sky, night of navy, whisper white; Memento, tuxedo black
Die: Lawn Fawn, large stitched square stackables
Promarkers: coll grey 1, 2, 3, & 4, china blue, cool aqua, cobalt blue, blue pearl, caramel, blush, dusky pink, ivory
Embellishments: Deco Art, glamour dust crystal; Forever Friends, silver washi tape
Have you already checked out the rest of the DT creations? If not you can find them here. Looking forward to seeing your Winter Wonderlands!

Fab colouring. I like how you've got lots of diff layers in your BG xReplyDelete
Gorgeous colouring! I love that image, she looks so chill :)ReplyDelete
This is very cool, Jane. I love the blue and silver together. You did a super job coloring her in and your design is excellent.ReplyDelete
Awesome wintery background!! Wonderful coloring and the choice of colors really are cool (no pun intended!)! This is really beautiful Jane. Great job. We are experiencing a bizarre winter here in northeastern US. We had 70 degree temps on and after Christmas. Hard to get into the winter mode when I feel I could go outside for a swim!ReplyDelete
This is SO cute! I just love that image and your coloring - such a great card! :)ReplyDelete
Love how you've popped on the girl sitting just looking at the scene. So creative and clever. The layout is just gorgoues, great sentiment and perfect amount of bling xReplyDelete
WOW! Simply brilliant colouring Jane and loving that inky background behind the girl.ReplyDelete
Fabulous scene and really well done with the digi image. Sarah x
