Uniko - Introducing Background Blocks: Wonky Stripes

Will yu be going to the Stamp Magic Show at Doncaster tomorrow? Be sure to come and say hello at the Uniko stand and get your first close look at all the new October stamp release.

Not going? Well then there's an introduction today and tomorrow and you can order from Monday. So here's today's introduction:

Fabulous even from this tiny peek! Here's a bit more of a reveal with my cards:

Time to get out those funky brights again and they made for a modern and quirky Christmas card. The coloured background inside the die cut frame is the stamp in its entiriety - no peeks here then!

The I stamped it again, left it uncoloured and cut it into a triangle tree shape and popped it up on pads on top.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Background Blocks Wonky Stripes, Festive Sentiments
Inks: SU, tempting turquoise; Mememnto, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, Y13, YG13, B02, RV04
Die: Lawn Fawn, stitched rectangle frames

And as I was still in the mood for merry and bright my next card also uses the same funky colours.

I stamped a background block in black ink and coloured a few of the wonky stripes in turquoise and then stamped it again with turquoise ink and coloured using pink, yellow and green.  I die cut three Christmas baubles from this second stamping and used a piece of twine to link them together.

I used the same greeting as the first card, but this time the larger scripty words from the Festive Sentiments set.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Background Blocks Wonky Stripes, Festive Sentiments
Inks: SU, tempting turquoise; Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, Y13, YG13, B02, RV04
Dies: MFT Di-namics, double stitched rectangles; Cuttlebug, baubles
Twine from my stash

Only one more day of introductions left and then on Monday you can change your wishlist into a shopping basket! Do go see all the other brilliant Uniko DT cards using this fabulous wonky stripe set - HERE

Thanks for dropping by today and maybe I'll see some of you tomorrow at Doncaster. But what ever you're doing remember to keep crafting!
