Thursday Thoughts

Rainbow is the code word at Addicted to CAS - still very appropriate as we're all still waiting for the rainbow to appear at the end of our troubled times.

My card uses a rainbow of colours and a sweet toadstool home. Don't you just hate it when you hear folks saying they're stuck at home? Surely home is a place where it's a pleasure to be and I much prefer the phrase 'safe at home'.

So here's that card:

I used two Funky Fossil stamp sets - Bees Knees and Scandi Home. I started by stamping the greeting using the tiny dewdrop ink pads from Memento. Then I stamped the toadstool home above it and used Inktense pencils to colour it up in a matching rainbow of colours.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Bees Knees & Scandi Home
Inks: Memento, lady bug, tangelo, dandelion, bamboo leaves, danube blue, grape jelly, lilac posies
Colours: Derwent Inktense pencils

Huge thanks for your time today, I'm so pleased you came to say hello.

Stay safe and keep crafting!

  1. I'm so with you on the "safe" vs. "stuck". This is so much fun, Jane. I would love to see the inhabitant of that little toadstool home! Great interpretation of the code word at Addicted To CAS. Thanks so much for playing with us, and be well.

  2. I agree with you - it's all about perspective. Indeed, home is what we make it and it should be a place where we love to be. I love how you incorporated "rainbow" with your sentiment. That toadstool is super cute! Thanks for joining us at Addicted to CAS. Apologies for the late comment.
