Today I'm sharing a card using the Altenew Watercolour Wonders stamp set that I'm so obsessed with at the moment. 

it's also the perfect choice for the CAS challenges going on at The Flower Challenge and CAS On Friday.

 

I've used a corner placement design for my card:

I've paired it up with one of the Simply Said Blocks sentiments from Uniko.

Wednesday Words

Today I'm playing along with The Flower Challenge.

I was completely torn by this choice. Tulips are my favourite flower, but the Uniko rose bud stamp from Pure Florals Rose is definitely my favourite flower stamp. So that's what I went with:

And as we're talking favourites my card is my go to CAS style. I've used the left over cut out piece from another card to stamp the stripes and matted it onto a red card base.

The rose bud is coloured up in dark red - has to be my favourite colour for a rose, I can almost smell the scent! I then hand cut it and popped it up on foam pads for dimension. 

The sentiment is from Floral Vines, which is definitely a favourite go to at the moment.

Wednesday Words

It's flowers today on a card I created for the pastels challenge at The Flower Challenge.

Whenever flowers are needed my first thoughts are always my Uniko stamps, so many beautiful examples to choose from.

And I couldn't resist the brand new Floral Vines. It's a stunning stamp set, includes super sentiments and is only £5.00 - no wonder it's sold out twice since its release.

I stamped it twice on opposite sides and ends of my card and then coloured it up in some pale shades of purple, pink, blue and aqua. The greeting was stamped fairly central and I matted it onto black card stock before adhering to a white card base.

It's a Happy 4th Birthday to The Flower Challenge with their current game. The theme is to use a circles or circles along with the flower or flowers of course.

This was a fun card to make:

I really like the simplicity of construction for this circle disk card and think it looks good with a multi layered or CAS design like this card. I used stamps from Uniko and stitched circle dies from MFT to create this card.

Today I'm sharing a card I created for the brown and pink challenge at The Flower Challenge.

As it's name suggests this challenge requires a flower or flowers to be the main focus. Here's my card:

I used the beautiful bell flower from Polkadoodles Rainbow Wishes and stamped it in brown onto a stitched die cut rectangle. I then added some pink and a few white highlight dots too.

The horizontal line border was also stamped in brown and is from Uniko. It just helps to draw the eye and balance the flower don't you think?

Saturday Spot

Today I'm sharing a card I created for August's The Flower Challenge.

And I've added a little sparkle, as requested, using some iridescent gems and heat embossing the stamping.

I used the smaller of the two flower stamps included in Funky Fossil's Beautiful Inside and Out stamp set. And quite naturally coloured them up using a mix of pink and blue Inktense water colour pencils to create my favourite purples.

I added the sparkly gems to the middle of the main flower and also to highlight my greeting. Although as it looks as if I've stamped it crooked maybe I shouldn't have done this!

Wednesday Words

Today my card has been created for a new to me challenge - The Flower Challenge. I discovered this challenge as my teammie on another challenge Milla is on their DT too.

The theme for July is Summer or Winter. Can you work out which season I plumped for?

Well the intention was to create a Winter themed card coloured in chilly blues and purples, but as you can see that didn't work out! I went with iconic Christmas colours instead, so still a Winter themed card, although I suppose it could also match the bright reds of some Summer flowers too.

I used one of my favourite Uniko stamp and die sets - Originally Organic Additions and die cut all the floral elements on my card, the larger ones popped up onto foam pads for dimension. The sentiment is the only part stamped directly onto the card. I fnished it all off by matting it onto a red card base.
