Monday Moments

Welcome to a whole new week and all its possibilities.....

The sketch over at CAS Colours & Sketches immediately caught my eye and I knew I had just the mask to create the broken edge between each band of colour.  So that part of the card was a breeze.

I loved the effect of the mask and the three colours so much I considered just adding the sentiment, but decided some subtle butterflies stamped in the same two pinky purples would just finish off the card that little bit more.  Then, of course, I wished I'd stamped the sentiment in the dark purple instead of black - but it wasn't enough of a disaster to warrant the file 13 treatment so I'm living with it.

And of course I added some sparkle to the butterflies with my best ever purchase - Wink of Stella - not showing in the photo as usual!

Supplies:
Stamps: Clearly Besotted, Thank You
Inks: SU, daffodil delight, melon mambo, rich razzleberry; Memento, tuxedo black
Stencil: Memeory Box, texture mesh
Embellishments: Kuretake Wink of Stella, clear; adhesive pearls from my stash

Great that you stopped by today, thanks so much.

Jane
