A new colour challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches this week and I think they're a bit of different combo.
What do you think? They're really subtle, but very usuable and awesome.
I decided to make more of a unisex type of card and the wonderful Explosion duo from Uniko. I stamped the background halftone splats in the taupe and green and then hand cut the mint splat and raised it onto pads to sit above.
A couple of movement lines and the word awesome and my card was rady to go in the post.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Explosion, Explosion Additions
Inks: SU, old olive, mint macaron, tip top taupe
Do go check out how the rest of the CC&S DT have used these colours - here. You'll be impressed.
Thanks for looking today, your company has been very welcome. And keep crafting!
LOVE this Jane and not just because you have used Uniko ;) The colours and layering of the stamped halftone explosion is FAB and the whole design is just CAS perfection. Hugs Bev x
ReplyDeleteThis is a super card, love the feel of dimension
ReplyDeleteThis is a great boy card if I ever saw one.
ReplyDeleteI love all that dimension the image really looks like it is jumping out at you!
ReplyDeleteFabulous use of the colours to make a mens card and great feel of dimension and texture.
ReplyDeleteYour card is Awesome! ;) Really, it is terrific in its CAS-ness. You called it unisex, but I think it would be perfect for the often hard-to-please teenage boy years.
ReplyDeleteLove the fact that you stamped the background explosion in two colours. It's a great effect and really adds to the card. x
ReplyDeleteSuch a clever card Jane and I love the two colour background, so effective behind your explosion.
ReplyDeleteFun card. I like the way you did the half tone background.
