Oooo, such an interesting challenge going on at Time Out at the moment. As well as the theme of Autumn there's also a twist of speed stamping.
Well I reckon I'm a pretty speedy card maker anyway - it's all the thinking, planning and getting my head together that slows me down! So of course I decided to give it a go:
I gathered all my supplies and created this little card in well under 5 minutes - way to speed stamp, yay!!!
Totally loving these leaf stamps from a newly discovered company for me - Precious Remembrance Shop. I have a wishlist as long as my arm for their stamps, but I got clobbered with custom duty for my last order so it's made me stop and think a bit before ordering again.
Supplies:
Stamps: Precious Remembrance Shop, Fall Colors
Inks: SU, crushed curry, pumpkin pie, real red, baked braown sugar
Paper: scrap from my stash
Huge thanks for your visit to my blog today, I really appreciate your time. And keep crafting!
Brilliant card, Jane. Super fast! I really love the leaf stamps they just evoke Autumn ... the fear of custom duty puts me off buying from the States!

Well you rocked the challenge Jane. I am like you-a lot of thinking about the card for days and sometimes weeks and then stamp and go! I like the arty look of this card and that strip of dsp works perfectly to balance the card. Thanks for joining Time Out and especially for having a go at the challenge-well blasting it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card, Jane. I love the color tones and that sentiment is very beautiful. Great use of designer paper in a CAS way too! Thanks for joining us at TIME OUT!
ReplyDeleteI've never come across Custom Duty but I can say that postage to New Zealand always makes me think twice about my orders, especially as some companies charge so much to send one stamp set!! This is a perfect Autumn card and well done getting in under 5 minutes, your a star! So glad you joined us at TIME OUT!!
