Wednesday Words

I'm playing along with a new to me challenge today - MUSE. And what could be more inspiring than the lovely Anita's awesome card.

The Muse is run a little differently from other challenges I've participated in and more input is expected from players e.g. an explanation of how you've used the inspiration card, leaving comments on three other players blogs and taking part in the voting system. So it's called a 'club' and I thought I'd give it a go.

I think you can probably see that I took inspiration from Anita's layout and echoed her dark right hand strip and use of florals, but changed up the colours.  My lily was handcut and coloured using copics.

I also liked her simple sentiment which contained two fonts so I chose one from my stash that I thought was a good match.

And although this has nothing to do with the actual card it's been Anita that has inspired me to try to dress the background of my photos a bit more, hers are always so beautifully arranged and displayed.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Pure Florals Lily; sentiment from Clearly Besotted, Pretty Petals
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copics, RV63, RV66, RV69, G99

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, it's been fun having your company for a while.

And keep (Christmas) crafting!

  2. Aw, thank you for your kind words, lovely. Such a gorgeous card with that lovely striking lily and great copic colouring too. I love your how you incorporated so many of my design elements into your creation. And your photos staging looks fabulous, so glad I've inspired you. I'm no photography expert, just trial and error with a few props and my mobile phone camera!
Thanks so much for playing along at Muse, hope to see you here again soon.
    Hugs, Anita x
