And as it's been so incredibly chilly round here recently the idea of a fairisle knitted jumper really inspired me when creating my card.
As well as the stencilled panel I also used some of my favourite Christmas washi tapes to give a sense of balance to my card.
Supplies:
Stamps: HLS, Mixed Christmas Sentiments (retired)
Inks: Ranger distress oxide, peacock feathers, candied apple
Stencil: Tim Holtz mini
Embellishments: SU, washi tape
Be sure to pop on over to the HLS blog - HERE - where you'll find lots more inspiration for using stencils on your Christmas cards.
So pleased you found time to come say hello today, your visit are always so appreciated.

ReplyDeleteLove that TH stencil and perfect for warming you up. Such pretty colours and design. Just thought I would mention we are sweltering here with 34c heat and the AC is on.
ReplyDeleteYou beautifully used the TH stencil and beautifully combined colors. Scandinavian patterns are associated with cold winter. A great idea for a card, Jane!
ReplyDeleteThat stenciled panel looks great, I love the blended look of the colors! Great use of washing tape too.
