I'm sharing a card today that I created for a brand new card challenge hosted by Scrap the Boys. I've been there before to try my hand at their scrapbook challenges, but a card challenge is a new venture for them.
I've followed the sketch almost literally for my card and kept in mind that it needs to be suitable for a boy.
I chose this strong and striking zebra image and stamped it onto some patterned paper which I then die cut into a stitched circle. I added three narrow strips of paper and die a cut a star from the same paper pack.
The sentiment was stamped using my misti tool as I knew it would need several stampings as I'd positioned it straddling the die cut circle.
Stamps: HLS, Born To Be Wild
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black
Dies: Xcut, star; MFT Die-namics, double stitched circles
Paper: Lawn Fawn, Beachside
Thanks a lot for dropping by my blog today, I really appreciate it.
And keep crafting!
Sounds like a great challengle to tackle those difficult masculine cards. Love how you've managed to keep your design clean thanks to your colour scheme.ReplyDelete
This is a fabulous card Jane. Ticks all the boxes for those hard to do 'men' cards!ReplyDelete
