Well I'm feeling very BOLD today as that's the challenge at Time Out at the moment. And also a little monochromatic as that the challenge at Less is More.
Here's my bold and monochromatic card:
I plumped for red because that always seems a very strident and take notice of me colour and stamped the beautiful Bed of Roses from Winnie & Walter. I die cut the word happy several times and glued them together for extra dimension and then finished off with a red stamped birthday.
And I'm kinda loving the clean, but 'look at me' feel of this red and white card.
Stamps: Winnie & Walter, Mini Scenery Bed of Roses
Inks: SU, cherry cobbler
Die: Winnie & Walter, In a Word Happy Cutaway
Polka dot card from my stash.
Huge thanks for taking a peep at my blog today, I really appreciate it.
And keep crafting!
Stunning card, love the red dotty 'happy'ReplyDelete

Absolutely monochromatic-tastic Jane. That rose bed stamp is so elegant and looks perfect just in outlines. Stunning and thanks for playing at Less is More xReplyDelete
Love your card Jane ! A clever mix of delicacy with these pretty roses and of cheerfulness with this red dotted die cut. Beautiful combo of challenges and as usual in a perfect CAS style. Thanks so much for sharing and for playing along at Less is More. xxReplyDelete
Those elegant line-art roses are fabulous, Jane ... beautifully complemented by that brilliant, bold polka dot sentiment! CAS-ilicious! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Anita :)ReplyDelete
This is awesome Jane, the flowers look cool, and the sentiment is fab with the dots.ReplyDelete
I think the red linear stamped image looks great paired with that fun polka dot happy. Great choice for our monochrome challenge.ReplyDelete
