So sun glasses at the ready? Here's my cards:
I chose some iconic comic book colours and stamped and layered to create a card for someone special.
More bright comic book colours jumped out of my supplies for this second card. I used lots of the smaller stamps from Explosion! and Explosion! Additions as well as the matching dies.
The die cut yellow splats were adhered flat and the die cut WOW! was popped up onto pads.
My final card has more muted colours and uses the baby wipe technique for inks. I actually made the baby wipe inks for a card in tomorrow's release, but as it was sitting on my desk decided to use it for this card too before it went in the bin.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Explosion! & Explosion! additions
Inks: SU, rela red; Versafine, onyx black; Ranger distress ink refil, picked raspberry, salty ocean, peacock feathers + a baby wipe
Dies: Uniko, Explosion Collection; Lawn Fawn, large stitched square stackables
So now all you have to do is make decisions and wait for the full reveal tomorrow when all the stamps, stencils and dies are released. If you're going along to The Happy Stampers Craft Show at Port Sunlight tomorrow you'll get a chance to see them in real life, but if like me that's not an option then just join me and the rest of the Uniko DT for a blog hop and chance to win.
Thanks for your time today, it's been so good to have some company. And keep crafting!
Really like the primary colours you have used. They fit with the ‘comic book’ style of this stamp set.
ReplyDeleteSuper WOW indeed, Jane! Crushing over the comic book style!

Awesome. My grandsons would love these.
ReplyDeleteLove your use of primary colours in the first two, so bright and punchy. Great use of the leftover ink in the last too. :)
ReplyDeleteThe blue and yellow combo has definitely a WOW factor ! These new explosions dies are gorgeously popped up by this combo. Your third card is really striking with this technique. I definitely have to try it ! A stunning showcase along the week ! x

ReplyDeleteFab eye popping designs Jane with the bright primary colours! On the other hand, your soft muted coloured card works equally well with a completely different feel to it! X
