Poppies are one of my all time favourite flowers to see growing in the hedgerows and fields so of course I had to join in with the challenge at CAS Watercolour this month.
Here's my little card:
I started by stamping and heat embossing the poppies and sentiment. Then I used an acrylic block as a palette, added some ink and water and used a paint brush to allow the colour to flow out round the stamped images.
I quite like the modern look of this rough watercolour technique and as it needs no real artisitc talent to achieve was perfect for me.
Supplies:
Stamps: Clearly Besotted, Remember
Ink: Versamark, clear + Ranger superfine black embossing powder; SU, real red, cherry cobbler, old olive
So thrilled to have you visit my blog today, thanks so much for your company.
And keep crafting!
Stunning! Jo x
