Thursday Thoughts

Today I'm adding to my Christmas card stash with a card I created for the Christmas Challenge at HLS.

Here's my card:

I knew I had this CAS-ual Fridays mistletoe stamp so that was a given, but I wanted something to be under waiting for a kiss. What better image than Donna's little fairy from Funky Fossil Christmas Characters?

I went with traditional reds and an olive green and found this scrap of Stampin Up paper lurking in my Christmas box stash.

Supplies:
Stamps: CAS-ual Fridays Mistletoe & Holly; Funky Fossil, Christmas Characters
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, YG 95, YG97, RV000, RV02, R29, R59
Die: MFT Die-namics, stitched basic edges

I'm so pleased that you visited my blog today, huge thanks for your time.

Stay safe and keep crafting!

Wednesday Words

Today I've a CAS baby card to share. It's going into the challenge at CAS on Friday.

I've used the mega sweet sleeping critter from Time For Tea Designs All Occasion Critter set and some beautiful gingham card stock from Papermill Direct.

I'm trying to make my mind up about what sort of critter this is - I'm thinking a mouse.

I stamped, coloured and die cut the little mouse and placed along with the sentiment inside a stitched scallop frame. I then matted it all on to another piece of the pretty pink gingham card.

 Supplies:
Stamps: T4TD, All Occasion Critters - Use T4TJANE10 to get 10% off an order
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, C0, C1, C3, RV00, RV52

Thanks so much for looking today, it's been a blast to have your company.

Today I'm playing along with the challenge at CAS on Friday where they want a New Home card.

Here's my card:

There's something very appealing about toadstool houses and i have quite a few different images in my stash. For today's card I went with the one from Time For Tea Designs Fairy Garden stamp set. I coloured it up in shades of blue and aqua and then cut it out with the matching die.

The sentiment is from a retired Uniko stamp set and fitted the space under the toadstool perfectly.

Supplies:
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, Y00, B000, B00, B01, B04, BG32, BG34, BG49; Sakura white glaze

Huge thanks for stopping by today, it's been fun to have your company.

Saturday Spot

Today I'm sharing a card I made for the challenge at CAS on Friday. The theme is Happy Mail.

Here's my card:

I used the Snail Mail stamps set from Funky Fossil combined with their Postage Frame stencil.

The snail was a straightforward stamp and colour. The postage stamp was inked up in distress ink first then I used distress oxide for the frank mark. I stamped the little house straight on top and added extra colours with Copic pens.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Snail Mail
Stencil: Funky Fossil, Postage Frame
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black; Ranger distress, twisted citron, mermaid lagoon; Ranger distress oxide, hickory smoke
Pens: Copic, C00, Y08, YG09, RV09, BG11, BG32, BG34, BG49

Thanks so much for stopping by today, it's been fabulous to have your company.

I've a Christmas card to share today and it's going into the Plaid Challenge at CAS On Friday.

Here it is:

I knew I had one small piece of this plaid paper left over from last year's album and that's where my card began. Once I'd die cut to make the bottom of the card I then stencilled through the Skinny Trees stencil and stamped the Winter Wonderland stag on top.

In retrospect I should have stamped the stag first and masked it off as the green from the trees showed through. I tired to rectify this by using a black sharpie pen.

I finished off with a stamped sentiment from Christmas Characters on a die cut tag.

Supplies:
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne; Ranger distress oxide, pine needles
Paper: Echo Park, Celebrate Christmas
Dies: MFT Die-namics, stitched basic edges; Polkadoodles, Posydoodles tags

Huge thanks for spending some time looking at my blog today.

Stay safe and keep crafting!

Here's my card:

I stamped in brown and adhered the card front to a brown card base using Papermill Direct card.

Supplies:
Stamps: Tracey Hey, I Conkered, Wreath Rascals
Inks: SU, baked brown sugar
Pens: Copic, W3, W5, Y18, YG01, YR02, YR07, R59, R81, E31, E47, E49, E55, E59; Sakura white gel pen

Thursday Thoughts

I'm combining two challenges today - Happy Little Stampers Christmas and CAS on Friday.

  For your blog

So Bah Hum Bug and Use a frame were my starting points:

I thought the gnome was looking decidedly unimpressed by life and was perfect for the Bah Hum Bug element and I used an MFT polaroid die for the frame. And don't we all need to keep that sentiment in mind at some point over the Christmas period?

Supplies:
Stamps: Stamping Bella, The Gnimes
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Die: MFT Die-namics, polaroid shaker frame
Pens: Copic, BG10, BG11, BG53, E0000, E00, E21

It's been fabulous to have you visit my blog today, thanks so much!

And keep crafting!

Supplies:
Die: Lawn Fawn, thanks
Ink: Versamark clear + hologrphic embossing powder
Embellishmsnts: clear gems from my stash

White on White - a CAS classic combo is the theme at CAS Friday at the moment.

For your blog
WHITE ON WHITE

Here's my card:

The most difficult thing about creating this card apart from thinking of an idea - and that took a while - was applying the glue to such fiddly little die cuts.

Supplies:
Dies: Birds on a branch from my stash; Clearly Besotted, hello (retired)

Thanks for your time today, I'm so pleased you spent some of it visiting my blog.

And keep crafting!
