Sunday Slot

Hi!

I spotted some really gorgeous colours in this week's CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge and just had to play along.

I broke open a new to me stamp set from Altenew - Watercolour Wonders - for my card.

I needed to substitute all three colours and tried my best to match them as closely as possible.

Supplies:
Stamps: Altenew, Watercollur Wonders; sentiment from Uniko, Floral Vines
Inks: Memento, grape jelly, lulu lavender; Altenew, mountain mist; Versafine Clair, nocturne

Thanks so much for looking today. It's always more fun when i get visitors.

Today I'm playing along with the colours from CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge.

Here's my card:

And for once I actually had all three colour inks in my stash. I started by using daffodil delight and inking up a bit of a background strip. Then I stamped the long set of stars from Uniko's Background Builders Seeing Stars in smoky slate and the small trio of stars from the same set in basic grey.

The sentiment is from Uniko's Reach For The Stars.

Supplies:
Inks: SU, smoky grey, daffodil delight, basic grey; Versfine Clair, nocturne

Monday Moments

Hi!

Today I'm sharing a card I created using the sketch from CAS Colours and Sketches.

I'm into a bit of a black and white monochrome look at the moment as you can see from my card:

I started by die cutting the two circles and then stamped and hand cut one of the delightful doggies from Funky Fossil's More Furry Friends.  I coloured him up in shades of grey and added a bit of mint green onto his collar.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, More Furry Friends
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Dies: MFT Die-namics, double stitched circles
Pens: Copic, E00, N1, N3, N5, BG13, BG23; Sakura gelly roll white glaze & black glaze

How cute is this little mouse! I matched his colours as closely as I could to those given for SU inks.

More Monday Moments

Well this doesn't happen often, but here I am again today with a second card for another challenge - getting close to the deadline so had to be done!

So it's CAS Colours & Sketches this time with a trio of Spring colours.

I'm using some washi from Funky Fossil and dies from Time For Tea Designs.

I started by inking up a scrap of card with the three colours from the chart and then die cutting the flowers and leaves using Springs Blooms from T4TD. I added a strip of Monochrome washi to the bottom and then adhered the flower cluster on top.

I finished off with a stamped and die cut thanks and matted it all on to a white card base.

Supplies:
Stamps: T4TD, sentiment from Be Kind, Be You
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne
Washi: Funky Fossil, Monochrome

It's been great to have your company again today, thank you so much.

Today I'm sharing a card I created using the sketch from CAS Colours & Sketches.

I loved the simplicity of this sketch and the option to use any shapes instead of the triangles.

I started by die cutting the stitched rectangle and choosing some bright red for the base card. I then stamped the flowers using Uniko's Mid Century Modern Florals stamp set in bright tulipy colours. I finished off with a sentiment from BIG & BOLD Happy.

Friday Focus

How are you all?

I've been busy making a Christmas card for Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge that uses the colours from CAS Colours & Sketches.

Not your typical Christmas colours, but I think they look really pretty.

I stamped out the holly leaves, berries and pine twig from Uniko's Winter Foliage and then used the matching dies to cut them. I arranged them in a cluster at the top left of the card front.

I finished off with a greeting, also from Uniko.

Supplies: Stamps: Uniko, Winter Foliage, Christmas Wishes
Inks: SU, flirty flamingo, smoky slate, marina mist
Dies: Uniko, Winter Foliage

Thanks so much for dropping by today, i really appreciate it.
