I wanted to try the watercolour paint brush stripes I've been seeing a lot of recently. So I spent a bit of time experimenting and came up with this way to achieve the effect. I used my largest acrylic block and put stripes of Memento dew drop ink directly onto it - I discovered this works best if you put the lightest colour on first! Then I placed the card on top and gently rubbed over and hey presto it looks like you've used a paint brush.
So that was my horizontal strip done. I stamped the vine trail by bending the stamp onto an acrylic block to make it curvy and then added some little flowers and some spots of glitter. The heart I stamped and cut out by hand, mounted onto pads and attached to the painted strip. Finally I added a sentiment to match the theme (not showing up too well in the main photo) and a few sparkly gems.
