Today I've made a card to enter into the new CAS Stencil Challenge.
I'm getting quite a stash of stencils so this new challenge should help me get them used and also try out new ideas with stencils. This month they're starting simple and want stencils used with sponging.
One of the things I love about stencils is how quick and easy they are to use and every time a slightly different result appears when you lift the stencil and see how the inks have blended.
I placed this shooting star stencil from Funky Fossil Design off to the left hand side of the card then used distress oxide inks - they blend so perfectly - with a sponge applicator. I finished off my card with a sentiment from Uniko. Quick, clean and simple!
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Reach For The Stars
Stencil: Funky Fossil Designs, Shooting Star
Inks: Ranger distress oxide, twisted citron, peacock feathers, salty ocean; Versafine Clair, nocturne
Card: SU, Call Me Clover
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, it's always fabulous to have some company.
And keep crafting!
A great card Jane.
