Saturday Spot

Today I'm sharing a card I created using the colours from the challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.



I only had the Pacific Point ink so substituted the other two for my closest match of Memento inks.


I started by stamping the Funky Fossil butterfly from the Geo Bugs set and then heat embossed with clear powder. Next I added the inky stripes using a technique I had seen Tracey Hey demonstrate on Hochanda. 


I finished off with a simple sentiment from Blooming Birthday and then matted it onto a white card base.

Stamps: Funky Fossil, Geo Bugs & Blooming Birthday
Inks: SU, pacific point; Memento, grape jelly, bamboo leaves; Versafine Clair + clear embossing powder
